Jan. 1987 – Sept. 2002: Regional Geologist with AGIP Spa in Hydrocarbon Domestic Exploration  

 Department with the following duties:

  • Regional Geological studies in the ENI Area Po Valley and Italian Sudalpine foothills area whith detailed evaluation in the sourrounding areas.
  • Detailed structural geological studies.
  • Preparation of balanced regional cross sections.
  • Definition of paleogeographical models and source rocks maturation studies correlated to paleogeography.

Sept. 1883 –Dec. 1986: Team Manager for regional tectonics and exploration geology in the Alpine Central Area.

January 1977 – August 1883:   Val Vedello mine Chief Project 

Jan.1976 – June. 1977:  entrusted with the geologic and radiometric survey of the Vedello and Ambria valleys. Field geologist coordinator.

  • Field studies on stress and strain analysis and data plotting for deep fracturation forecasting.

The positive results carried out allowed the progressive development of important mining works at depth in Val Vedello (Sondrio), where they saw him,  first as Chief Project and then as Valtellina Operational Group manager.

  • Seismic interpretation and subsurface mapping for prospect generation and evaluation.

Sept.1975 – January 1975: Field Geologist in the Central Alps:

  • Geological mapping and radiometric surveys on the Permo-Carboniferous outcropping in the Seriana Valley. The Costa Magrera uranium occurrences with new and detailed geologic surveys culminated with drillings and short tunnels execution.
  • Sampling for paleontological, petrographic, and structural analysis.
  • Geostructural mapping

April 1974: first experiences in Agip’s Denver USA training on prospecting Uranium Exploration & visit the different USA Uranium Mine.
